I just read the full post, and I couldn't get over how much I felt/thought the exact same things about being a working mom. Thank you, thank you - it was fabulous!Jamie Lynn {Cocktails and Carseats}https://www.blogger.com/profile/00350961724433712789noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8479044467467363635.post-60781050764015203212014-03-16T18:35:03.622-05:002014-03-16T18:35:03.622-05:00Loved your post!!! Obviously I am biased as a nanny for two lawyers (my boss could have written your post!) but it was well written and very interesting to hear how you do it all! I especially loved all of the sweet things you said about your nanny :)Katehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00754129167778925729noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8479044467467363635.post-84877278073813379812014-03-14T11:46:31.753-05:002014-03-14T11:46:31.753-05:00Love love love everything about your post!Love love love everything about your post!the girl in the red shoeshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01034423849993662970noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8479044467467363635.post-28393240391386038922014-03-13T21:04:26.631-05:002014-03-13T21:04:26.631-05:00Love love love that series she does! Just binge read a bunch of entries and found myself nodding my head over similarities. We too struggled with infertility for 3 years, miscarriage but our now pg with twins. I liked your insight on working after kids as I'm struggling on what to do. Can we afford to stay home, yes...but I sure like both our healthy incomes and not thinking about downsizing our lifestyle. Also, our Italy vacation cities were the exact same! My daughter is 15 months old and I was able to go back to work at my firm part-time (3 days a week)....believe me I know how unusual this is and how lucky I am to have a great boss. But, there are days where I really struggle with feeling like I am failing at work and as a mom; like I am half-assing everything. I've been toying with the idea of becoming a SAHM or going back to work full-time. I think I need to just realize and appreciate that being a mom in any capacity can be a struggle and embrace what we're doing now. I'm curious what nanny agency you used, since I'm seriously considering this for our two little ones now. How does the agency charge you for their services? I aslways thought a nanny would be nice, but now we are seriously considering it. Our son has chronic respiratory issues/illnesses that stem back to his premature delivery. About every two weeks he's sick with some serious breathing problem, and I'm thinking taking him out of daycare will help his body cope.
