Photography Favorites for Moms on Shopswell

Have you all heard of this new shopping website called Shopswell?  It's a bit like Pinterest for shopping, where you can create wishlists and shopping lists (similar to pin boards) by theme or event.  You can create lists of favorite kid's toys or birthday wishlists; you can create a list of your favorite kitchen gadgets and cookbooks; you can set up a virtual list for Christmas where you can track what Santa will be bringing for everyone in your family!  (I'm working on these now!)  Similar to Pinterest, you can create secret or public boards that you can share with friends/family or keep private.  You can follow your friends and share your lists with others.  You can follow other shoppers with similar tastes or fun themed lists. Or you could even create secret list of gift ideas for the special people in your life. You can even read reviews and get product recommendations through the site.
One of the coolest features of Shopswell is the price tracker.  Unlike Pinterest where lots of pins are dead ends or linked to a product that's no longer available, the products listed on Shopswell are all available for sale and listed with the current price.  Plus, when you add a product to your list, you have the opportunity to set up a "price watch" notification in case the product you're watching goes on sale!  Because who has time to monitor sales?  Sometimes the price of a product can swing by 30% in a given week and the site will notify you when the price drops or hits your target price, saving you money.  Is this genius, or what!
With the holidays coming up, this is usually the time when I start getting asked a lot of questions by friends and family members about my favorite photography-related products and gear.  Christmas is the perfect time to ask Santa (or your husband or parents) for your first "real" camera, or an awesome new lens or photo editing software so you can take your pictures to the next level.  I am by no means a photography expert (which I think is a good thing), because I'm in a great position to give you normal/everyday mom advice about what I like and what I've found that works for regular (non-professional) mamarazzi.  I've created a really fun Shopswell list of some of my favorite photography gear, products, gifts and equipment, which you can check out here

If you're interested in Shopswell, make sure you check out their new promotion called Shop.Share.Win, where you get rewarded (with $MONEY$) for creating useful lists of products, sharing helpful videos, leaving product reviews or sharing your lists. Each month they're giving their users $10,000 based on credits you earn for helping others and sharing the site and your lists.  There's even a leaderboard that's updated every 24-hours where you can see how much others are making. So go!  Check it out!  And shop on, friends!

Who else is asking for photography gear for Christmas?
What's on your wishlist?

I was selected for this opportunity as a member of Clever Girls and the content and opinions expressed here are all my own.

  2. I've been eyeing a new lens for my Sony and my Canon. I want a wider lens for the Sony, but I am so undecided on the canon lens. TBH, I should just get my 16-35 repaired, lol!! Shopswell sounds really similar to ShopStyle, which I love, so I'll check it out!!

  4. Online shopping is so fun and exciting. Not mentioning the enormous advantages of shopping online, you also get the chance to create a wish list of the items you want to purchase but may not be ready for it just yet. This is a very beautiful http://www.dumblittleman.com/2016/04/10-tips-develop-sides-brain.html site and I love the simple but classic design. Online shopping saves you a lot of time and money. I think it is a great stuff and everyone should make use of it.
