Running from the Law: Snow Day

Snow Day

Based on my total lack of blogging lately, I'm sure you've come to the conclusion that I'm (a) busy, busy, swamped at work and in all aspects of life, (b) still dealing with pregnancy sickness/fatigue and too weak and exhausted from chasing around a 21-month old toddler and growing a human to have time to blog, or (c) sitting on a beach somewhere warm and sunny to escape the never-ending snow and miserable fucking cold that is our weather.  If you guessed (a) and/or (b), you'd be right.  Although (c) definitely sounds like the best option.

So, since I'm worthless these days, I'm just going to leave you with more photos of Mac in the snow. These photos were actually taken back in December (or maybe even November) when we got one of the first (of now a thousand) snowfalls this year.  Back before I stupidly DROPPED my favorite camera lens and broke it!  Oh, the horror.  It will be at least 8 weeks before it's fixed and I'm already having withdrawals.  I'm so mad at myself.  Is there a 12-step program for prime lens addicts?

So yeah, more Mac...more snow.  Story of my life these days.  There's no real explanation or fully story or anything that goes with these photos.  They're just cute.  He's cute.  He insisted on getting his little lawnmower and mowing the snow.  I mean, how adorable is that?  He's not really a big fan of the snow, but he does really like to wear his boots - he's SO my child.  He also loves helping to shovel the driveway - which he totally gets from his dad.  Also, he's now like twice this size - how does that even happen?
Hope you all are staying warm.
Is it May yet?

  1. Oh my gosh he's adorable all bundled up like that! I love that he's "mowing" the snow - does it have a snow blower setting?! Callie actually likes the snow - she asks to go out in it all the time... She may be a CO native but apparently she's a midwestern girl at heart! Hope you start to feel better soon!

  2. Mac is so stinking cute all bundled up! Hopefully your energy comes back soon! When thinking about having another, I worry about the exhaustion setting in and barely being able to take care of Liam. You're doing an awesome job mama!

Hope you start feeling better soon! At least you have reason to sit around inside because of all the snow while you're feeling icky, and hopefully enjoying some good soups!
