Valentine's Day Sweets, Style and Crafts

Is anyone else in total shock that January just evaporated into thin air and here we are in February? I mean, wasn't Christmas just last week? I guess time must be flying because I'm having so much fun, right? Is that why I'm so damn tired? I guess having fun's not too horrible a problem to have, although it does tend to send me into full-blown panic mode when holidays, trips, events and birthdays sneak up on me before I'm fully ready. That's why I'd like to take a minute today and share some amazing Valentine's Day goodness with you. February automatically makes me think of Valentine's Day and there's still almost two weeks to go until the big day, so plenty of time to make the most of it and get your fill of everything heart-shaped and sweet.

If you're anything like me, the first place to go for holiday inspiration is Pinterest. Some of my very favorite blogger friends and I got together for a Pinterest Party(!!) and created the ultimate Valentine's Day pinboard with ideas for everything related to this lovely holiday: kid crafts, printables, valentine cards, desserts, crafts, decor, cocktails, gifts, party ideas, games, recipes, activities, outfits and date night ideas! The board has over 2,500 pins, so whatever it is that you're looking for, we've got you covered! Feel free to check it out for inspiration. I've also put together a couple little round-up collages of my favorite pins in the following categories (I mean, who doesn't love a collage?): (1) Sweet Treats & Desserts; (2) DIY Crafts & Decor; and (3) Style and Outfit Inspiration. I hope this gets you in the holiday spirit and feeling the love!!

First up, Valentine's Day sweet treats, desserts and goodies! I am blown away by all the amazing sweet food and goodness associated with Valentine's Day! And here I was thinking that Easter had all the good candy and desserts. Here are a few of my favorites that we found...

Next up is Valentine's Day inspired fashion and outfits. I'm a sucker for anything heart-shaped, pink or romantic. Most of these inspirational pins are for casual wear because (let's face it), who in the world can find a baby-sitter on Valentine's Day or wants to brave the crowds of love-struck couples in restaurants? Valentine's Day is on a Sunday this year, so here are some cute outfits you could rock all weekend long! Plus heart shoes...because I just couldn't not include heart shoes.

Last but not least, here's a round-up of some of my favorite Valentine's Day crafts and decor. Most of these are adult crafts (not necessarily kid stuff), but I'm sure the kids wouldn't mind helping out. Plus, a lot of these can be used year after year, or even the whole year long because they're so cute. I'm particularly obsessed with the flower chandelier (could be done just as easily with silk flowers) and the hanging hearts backdrop. I want to make both and put them in Mim's nursery.

  14. Great round up!!! I'm a sucker for sweets so of course I LOVE all of those choices! But I also think I pinned a punch of those Valentine's Day crafts too! I just love hearts (all year round) and some of them seem like they could be year round pieces. Mason made a heart last year at school that I framed and have up all year. It's one of my very favorite pieces of art work that we have!
