Suspicious Silence

They say silence is golden...unless you have a toddler.
I guess this is what happens when your kid "accidentally" eats three pieces of cake at a birthday party right before naptime.
And somehow he got a hold of a tube of diaper cream.
When I walked in to get him, he looked so proud of himself and said "Mama, paint with lotion!"
Yep, you sure did buddy.
I should have known it was a little too quiet in there.
But good luck being mad at this face.

  1. I've always said that it's a good thing these minis are made so cute otherwise, things could get ugly. ;-) But you're right you can't stay mad at that face for long - so cute!!! Have a great week!!

  10. hahaha. Lessons learned? Hide the cake better? Build crib sides a few feet higher? But, really how can you be mad at the faces they make!? And the look of pride too. Look mama I just ate the leaf, huge smiles*

  22. LOL. Trust me, it's a better alternative than when I walked in and found my daughter painting with her diaper contents, around that age... yikes!

  23. I swear he gets cuter by the day...even covered in diaper cream. Hilarious! Normally when Lilly is quiet I assume she's dropping shit she's not supposed to in the dog bowl or toilet.
