Halloween Pajama Party

Well, well, well.  How is it possibly already the end of October?  I'm still shocked it's not August every time I look at the calendar. I'm linking up today with some lovely ladies to show off our Halloween PJs.  Pardon the crappy iPhone pics - these definitely aren't the greatest photos in all the land.  I took an obscene number of photos of the kids in their Halloween PJs on my "real" camera (separately because the toddler refused to get anywhere close to the baby without throwing a massive effing tantrum so I put her safety above getting the ultimate Halloween duo picture), but there they shall stay until probably next year because there's no way in hell I'm going to have my shit together enough to get to them until at least then.  And our pumpkins are not carved. And we have yet to purchase any candy.  And we didn't put up a single decoration.  And we don't have our costumes ready yet.  I'm drowning. There are just not enough hours in the day, y'all.  Please send booze.  And candy.  And costumes.

  1. Such cuties!!! You get a pass this year mama!! Don't worry we no candy, one pumpkin that has not been carved and zero Halloween decorations in our house. I have one pair of Halloween jammies for Miller but keep forgetting that Halloween is this week.

  4. We haven't carved or gotten any candy yet either! We did manage to get costumes finally though, we had some trunk or treat and boo zoo things to do this weekend so it was down to the wire. The booze sounds like a good idea though. Might make that the #1 priority. And, hey even if you couldn't get a combo shot...those two separately couldn't be any cuter!

  6. So, I'm lucky we even have a pumpkin, let alone having it carved. Also, Abbie has ZERO Halloween jammies and a cheapo costume from Target. You're doing awesome, mama!

  8. so cute! We painted pumpkins 2 weekends ago at our friends house (and they happen to still be there because they were so wet when we headed home), but I'm thinking that maybe the extent of our pumpkin experience this year. And costumes...yeah...my brother & SIL are throwing a family-friendly Halloween party on Friday and costumes are not optional. I may be going with the pregnant farmer's wife look...but only if Elyse agrees to actually WEAR the cow costume we bought for her!

  10. Cutest little skeleton and pumpkin in all the land!
If it's any consolation… I only have one little, and there are zero Halloween decorations, not a single iota of candy ready to be passed out, and three pumpkins that sit without a single hole carved… So, you're way ahead of the game by even having Halloween pjs. I think I might have a pair somewhere. I think…

  13. I am convinced that you have the cutest kids in all of the land. How you get a 3 month old to smile like that is beyond me. You, my friend, are a photographic genius! They look so cute in their Halloween PJs!

  15. You definitely deserve a drink! Super cute pictures- Mim's smile is sooo adorable! Don't worry too much about trying to fit everything in - there really aren't enough hours in the day. Quite often I find myself wishing I was a vampire so I didn't have to sleep or eat (ala Twilight, haha :)

  17. Mac and Mim are seriously so cute! And this post made me laugh. A lot. Mainly because it's the story of my life! Hence my blog hasn't been updated in at least 100 years. Keep on keepin' on, mama. You're doing great!

  18. They are adorable! I had my mom put out our decorations this year. We've also been known to carve our pumpkin after Halloween. Don't worry at all - just let it go and you won't feel like your drowning (as much - maybe just treading water). I laughed at myself when I realized for my oldest's first Halloween I made his costume. For my second's first Halloween I purchased one and for my third's first - I put her in festive pjs that my mom found.
